A Rescue Desperately Needs YOUR Help

This puppy is not asleep.

She has collapsed, is unconscious and Ironmountain are hoping that their vet can save her!

Ironmountain Large Breed Rescue recently took on three lovely little pups who were in need of care after starting life in a puppy farm.

Yesterday morning those three, five month old little girls, one other resident dog and another foster dog were fighting for their lives . Unfortunately the pups brought with them a highly virulent strain of Parvo with an incredibly fast incubation period!

The worry is that the pups were also transported by other Ironmountain volunteers who are now waiting to see if their own dogs have been affected too!

Ironmountain is a new rescue and the vets bills could cripple them completely. They will fight as hard as they can to keep these girls going - they are babies, they have no other health problems and they have a right to life which does not deserve to be cut short by a virus.

You can help by helping spread the word, posting on forums you visit or sharing from your Facebook wall with the link http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ironmountain-Large-breed-rescue/158812137467257

If you would like to make a donation to help with the vet’s fees then you can;

  • Contact the vets directly to make a payment on the Iron Mountain account by ringing 01728 441 006
  • Donate to the Ironmountain community account
  • HSBC sort code 40-01-29 account number 80162876 Iron Mountain Large Breed Rescue
  • Donate to Ironmountain’s paypal account at ironmountaindogrescue@hotmail.co.uk
  • Encourage friends and family to shop using http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/ through the IM page.

They are desperate for blankets and towels as they are having to burn all dog bedding to prevent repeat outbreaks. If you live in the Suffolk area then they have a safe drop-off point the home will collect from. They will not risk others pets by having people come into contact with the infected dogs.

Every donation will make a huge difference to this young but excellent rescue. Please dig deep and help Ironmountain survive this crisis so they can continue with their amazing work!
