Paws in the Park

Paws in the Park, the UK’s largest outside Dog Show for working, trained and pet dogs returns for its seventh year on the 17th and 18th September.
For 2011 Paws in the Park is moving to the Kent Showground, with over 200 acres of event space and a staggering 4500 sqm of indoor facilities, the Kent Showground will allow Paws in the Park to grow even bigger and better!
This year the number of ‘Have a Go’ events have been increased allowing all dogs whatever their age, size and ability to enjoy a whole host of events, games
and competitions. New For 2011 is the Indoor
Entertainment Zone which will feature All Day Arena Displays, Café and Shopping Mall.
As well as Fun Agility, Have a Go Flyball, Fun Scurries and the Dogstable Course there is a huge Companion Dog Show with KC Scruffts Heat. .
For trained or working dogs there will be three types of gun dog scurries, large agility and exciting flyball competitions. Paws for Thought Display Team will be wowing visitors with their fantastic arena display and the Guide Dogs will be celebrating their 80th anniversary with demonstrations throughout the day.
For those dogs that like water the K9 Aqua Zone includes ‘Dash N Splash’ a fantastic attraction where dogs sprint along a 30ft ramp and then jump into 40ft pool of water It’s very loud and wet but incredibly good fun!

Weekend Camping is available and pitches start at just £15. Camping will include evening entertainment including a Cabaret night with Richard Curtis on the Saturday night.
