Wetnose Fun Day

Wetnose Animal Aid, a non-profit organisation specialising in raising funds to help sick animals is proud to host Wetnose Fun Day on 29th- 30th July 2011, a day where animals have a voice, a day where people across the nation can get together to help animals to have a good life.

Wetnose which is a registered NPO was set up by husband and wife team Gavin and Andrea Gamby-Boulger after running a Rescue Centre for 12 years.

“We truly believe that animals are

special. They provide great company for those alone, they provide great guards for those scared, they provide great cuddles when you're feeling down from everyday life, and they are great servicemen to the blind, the army, the police force and much more. On the 29th- 30th July 2011 we would like to return the favour and be their friends, be their voice and be their servicemen,” says Andrea Gamby-Boulger.

Wetnose Fun Day 2011, can create a difference to animals across the globe. From those stranded in Japan after the earthquake, to those being stranded by pet owners that simply can't afford to keep them anymore.

Did you know? Over 7 billion pounds a year is raised for charity, BUT only 0.05% goes to animals, I think this is so sad and that this figure is far too low, and needs to be raised much higher if we are to help wildlife conservation projects and help thousands of strays in places across the world. Donations to Centres have dropped enormously and this must be reversed.

You can do many things to help raise

money for Wetnose Fun Day, from skydiving to a sponsored silence. Every penny raised for these poor animals will be much appreciated. Your money would mean:

● An animal can be treated by a vet so it doesn’t have to be put down

● Animal shelters can accommodate more animals so they won’t have to get turned away or put down

● Animals can be rescued from natural disasters or poverty

● An animal can find a new home
