Coming soon.. ‘Undercover Boss’ at The Blue Cross

After being approached to take part in the programme earlier this year, Blue Cross chief executive Kim Hamilton agreed to don a disguise to work incognito alongside her employees to find out what really happens on the front line, see the effects her decisions have on her staff, and explore both the successes and the frustrations of the charity’s work.

Throughout several exhausting days volunteering at Blue Cross animal adoption centres and hospitals, Kim discovers what it really takes to care for sick and homeless animals, hears what her employees think about how the charity is run, and discovers some of the unsung heroes who take great pride in their work helping animals, and owners, in need.

Leading animal welfare organisation The Blue Cross will be the first charity to feature in the prime time television series ‘Undercover Boss’, it was announced today.

The popular programme returns to Channel 4 for a third series in July 2011 with six new high profile bosses leaving the

identity to her unsuspecting staff as she explains what she has learnt, the changes she wants to make, and how she plans to show her appreciation to the staff and volunteers who are doing an

outstanding job. The Undercover Boss featuring The Blue

Cross is coming soon to Channel 4.
