The Mayhew Animal Home invites all to a spectacularly spooky Children’s Hallowe’en Party!
London - The Mayhew Animal Home in North West London is inviting children to pass the pumpkin at the Home’s annual Children’s Hallowe’en Party in celebration of all things beautiful about black cats. The children will have the opportunity to meet the rescue centre’s feline residents, take part in a fancy dress competition, play ghoulish games, have their face painted and enjoy some spooky sweets and creepy crawly cakes.
When: Sunday October 30th
Where: The Mayhew Animal Home, TrenmarGardens, Kensal Green NW10 6BJ
Time: 1pm – 4pm
Entry: £1.50 adults, £1.00 children
Mayhew events co-ordinator, Fran Llewellin said: “We’re all really looking forward to this year’s Hallowe’en Party. It’s always great fun for children and staff and it’s also a great opportunity for people to meet some of the black cats and kittens that we have available for adoption. Anyone wishing to enter the fancy dress competition should come as their favourite creepy character – both children and adults are welcome to enter!”
The Hallowe’en Party is a fantastic opportunity to keep children entertained over half term. The money raised will help to contribute to The Mayhew’s fundraising target of £125,000 in order to build a new roof for their Cattery in 2012. Even if it is a day to celebrate black cats, staff at the rescue centre still welcome adoption enquiries for any of their residents; dog, cat or rabbit!
