Troublesome Treacle
Hi everyone and a big Happy New Year lick to you all!
Since the last lovely issue of Rescue and Animal Care Magazine came out we have enjoyed a lovely Christmas time.
I was first down on Christmas morning to see what Santa Paws had left me and was in such a hurry I nearly knocked the tree down and Just missed getting a pine needle up my nose! I found a nice chewy toy and some treats mum said I could have after breakfast (I sneaked a few when no one was looking!) and after I’d help rip up all the wrapping paper I settled down in a quiet corner to enjoy my present.
My new year’s resolution which I have tried to stick to is not to eat doggie plops. I think mum has mixed feelings about this since on day one she was so used to me clearing up after myself so to speak she didn’t notice a rather large cumberland sausage shape one in the back yard and so trod on it.
Mum didn’t notice until she was preparing the vegetables and kept asking me if I had broken wind. I must admit it did smell pretty awful. Anyway suddenly realising that the unpleasant aroma was following her around, lifted up the sole of her new Christmas boots.
Dad had given her and she shouted ‘You naughty girl Treacle ,get in your bed’ How come it was my fault. I wish I had eaten it now.
If you download this issue of Rescue and Animal Care Magazine and go to page 4 there are some rather lovely border collies looking for homes. I particularly like George and it says he is good with other dogs! I was rescued from the Border Collie Trust and I love my new owners and they love me too. Good luck George if you’re reading this!!
Lots of love and sniffs
Treacle x
